The surprising science of happiness

Natural happiness: Is  when we get somtething that  we wanted

Synthetic happiness : Is what we make when we don’t get what we wanted”.

The experiment

He asked them to rank 6 paintings from the one they liked the most to the one they liked the least. They could choose between number 3 and 4. Almost all individuals chose number 3.

Since these individuals have anterograde amnesia they could not remember who he was, that he was just in the room or that they owned a poster of painting number 3.
He asked them to rank the 6 paintings from the one they liked the most to the one they liked the least
These startling results indicate that not only can individuals make their own synthetic happiness but they do this unconsciously. Gilbert also found that this unconscious ability to synthesize happiness happens more often in situations where you do not have a say in the matter.

The origin of Pleasure

Questions

Is Pleasure a natural thing?
Is it a pure natural tendency?
Are there some cultural ingredients in pleasure?

Pleasure isn´t a natural thing, is a natural tendency but is not the same for everyone.
There are some cultural ingredients in pleasure for example the history of each object that is very important

Maybe you can have a DC shoes that are real but if they are fake you feel bad . Or you feel happier with for example a trainers of a famous athletics  or a guitar of a singer but if is not from that famous person you have this stuff like  if that is another object in your life

There are many types of pleasure :

-Corporal pleasures like: sex, confortable, listeng to a song that you like...
-Espiritual Pleasures like:  the discoverement of something, love, success...

What is pleasure for ?

The Creator has provided pleasure to facilitate the search for good, for hope of a future joy helps to overcome obstacles. The main thing is not pleasure but the good achieved; pleasure is only a consequence.
(El Creador ha dispuesto los placeres para facilitar la búsqueda del bien, pues la esperanza de un gozo futuro ayuda a superar los obstáculos. Lo principal no es el placer sino el bien alcanzado; el placer es sólo una consecuencia)

Reflexion between Plato's cave and Matrix

                Plato's Cave and Matrix

The problem of the reality and the problem of the free. The film was about the futere (year 2199 aprox.) There was a was between humans and machines. The machines have subdued the humans keeping them sleep in a "special place" connected to a "imaginate world" and fake from a computer progam called Matrix. In the real world the colonies that survived are the free humans, Zion, that tried to liberate the humans that are in the "special place". To do it, the made an army in which their soldiers had to enter (in Matrix) looking for thoose persons that thought that Matrix exist. Neo did not know what was the real and the fake world, Matrix.

God Does it control our destiny, or do we have free will?

In this paper we consider the causal impact of a lack of faith in free will with a specific focus on law and ethics.
Philosophers have long addressed the general problem of free will as well as the specific connection between free will and ethics.
Sally was driving and had an accident because she was with the phone while she was driving she could not stop in the crosswalk and Sally crush with Jane and his

children but she isnt going to go to the jail because of the free will

One aspect of this can be seen as positivedetermining the extent to which people are in control of their actions is an important part of determining what is and is not a just punishment.
The second aspect of this is negativeskepticism about free will seems to cause people to think that they have a license to do ill, thus leading to worse behavior.
In large measure our future depends on ourselves. God invites us to "choose life". The destination is not what determines success or failure. If we want our plans succeed, we must work hard

What's Philosophy ? And picking between esperts

I take "philosophy" to be an English word referring to a certain kind of thinking, a certain kind of approach to a certain kind of problem.
The main point, though, is that philosophy isn't distinguished so much by what it's about as by the nature of the activity.
The presentation of opinions, theories, or advice isn't philosophy, no matter what the content. Doing philosophy involves thinking about things in a certain  way, offering arguments for one's ideas and meeting arguments against them.
Philosophy is not a picking and choosing what body of thought one would like to call one's own or would like to believe in a choice based upon personal preferences or feelings.
Philosophy is a pursuit.  One can choose to be philosophical. One can choose to be a philosopher.  One can not choose a Philosophy.
Philosophy, insofar as it may be correlated at all to a "way of Life", is a form of thinking meant to guide action or to prescribe a way of life.  The philosophic way of life , if there is one, is displayed in a life in which action is held to be best directed when philosophical reflection has provided that direction; example ( Sócrates) the paradigm of a philosopher
A person who offers views of theories and profound questions in ethics, metaphysics, logic and other relate fields. The person has sufficient expertise in the subject matter question, the claim made by the person is within her área of expertise
